A bit of a cheat because this is for yesterday, all marked out of 10:

    .38 Special - Strength In Numbers: 7.5

The Men The Couldn't Hang - Devil In The Wind: 7

The Men They Couldn't Hang - The Defiant: 8

The Zac Brown Band - You Get What You Give: 8

    RPR - Longview: 9

Big House - S/T 7 (This album is fairly new to me so the rating might change over time)

Jack Sundred - By My Own Hand 8

Nothing like waking up with Bob... Truly; there is nothing like starting the day with Bob; not in this universe. It's an act that's guaranteed to color the day; however...

7.5 out of 10? Oh Mercy!

We're all enthusiasts on this forum! :righton:

I'm not a big fan of telly so unlike many of my friends, my instinct when I finish work is to stick on some music rather than fire up the box which means I usually get through a few albums a day (listening to Fairport Convention, as I'm typing this!).

It's not for everyone but it keeps me sane. :yikes:

I'm jealous. I can barely get through a single album if I'm not also doing something else.

    A combination of the two.

If it's an album I know well, I can get on with other tasks and let it all wash over me. I work a lot at home & if I'm doing tedious paperwork, I'd go bonkers if I didn't listen to something.

However, If I'm listening to an album I'm not familiar with, I like to give it my full attention.

    On the way to work...
Empty Sky by Elton John: 5/10
A very flawed debut, but Elton agrees. Some dreadful arrangements, but a couple of gems in Skyline Pigeon, Sails and Lady Samantha.

    Late last night...
    Croz by David Crosby: 8/10
Crosby has been on a roll since 2014. I can't wait for his new record at the end of the month.

It wouldn’t be worth it to rate them. I’ve only play albums I’d rate as 7 or above, and have been slowly getting rid of the 6 and belows over the past few years.
