I'll rate it as a whole as an 8, too much typing to do on phone. Generally I thought this was a weaker album probably because of the covers and baby's in black, the others are really good

For my least-favorite Beatles album, I'm surprised at how many songs I love are on there now that I look at it.

 

I've always loved this album even though it can be argued that it's one of their weaker efforts. Personally i prefer it to Help, Rubber Soul, Abbey Road and Let It Be (and Yellow Submarine) though i expect to be in the minority.
John and Paul's singing is ace on this album - the middle 8 of Baby's In Black is worthy of The Everly Brothers even though the song itself isn't very good. Every Little Thing is another stand-out as is Eight Days A Week. What an amazing music world it would be if everyone's crap album was this good.

 

I've always based the strength of this album on the original compositions alone; though there are only 8, they pack a punch. I feel the 8 best songs on this album are better than the 8 best from A Hard Day's Night, and much better than the 8 best from Help!...

 

One of my favourite albums by the Beatles from the cover to the covers. Special favourites: Baby's in Black, Eight Days a Week, I'm a Loser. I have a soft spot for Honey Don't, I Don't Want to Spoil the Party, Mr. Moonlight, Words of Love.

But as much as I adore them playing rnr, the song RnR Music on this album always annoyed me a little. And I never got all the love for No Reply. Why did they think so much about it?

Only 10 on here for me is Rock and Roll Music. Some of my least favorite Beatles songs are in this mix including my least favorite single: Eight Days a Week.
