    Greetings,

A few of us nerds are trying to get to the bottom of the origins of Liberty Blue Note pressings from the 1966-1970 era:

Based on info in this thread, there has been speculation that some early Liberty-era Blue Note titles may have been pressed by RCA:

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or information about whether or not any Blue Note titles could have been pressed by RCA?

Based on the original Billboard article reporting the purchase of Blue Note by Liberty, it seems to me that if RCA did any production for Blue Note, it would have been extremely brief:

[See article "Lib. Pulls Triple (Expansion) Play" on the top right]

    Any insight is appreciated!
