I demoed them and they sounded great to me. I am getting pretty much 800 off the original price (3k for the price). What I want to know is if the CM9 S2's are that much better, or should I just take this lovely deal?

If you like the way they sound then that's what matters.

I have not compared the 9's but listened some to the smaller model v1 and v2. Take the deal. I have described some changes/versions of other equipment in the past as this years Ford Taurus with a new bumper. The old bumper is fine.

    I'd take that deal. I'm certain the S2 doesn't sound $800 better.
