I want something black, bleak, and desperate. No happy endings. Just misery and destruction for all the characters. Something that deals with extremely depressing scenarios. Black humor would also be appreciated in this series.

Stuff I currently like with these elements:

    Breaking Bad
    The Blacklist
    Death Note
    Arrow (to an extent)
    The Killing

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It may be on the free version of Hulu. I'm unsure. You may want to check. I think Hulu has a 2 week premium free trial option as well.

It's on Netflix. The first episode is pretty disturbing but if you are adventurous stick with it. It's very dark but the whole series has some interesting things to say about our relationship with technology.

Sounds like time for a Twin Peaks (or really any David Lynch) marathon.

Blue Velvet... any fondness you may have for the song will be utterly destroyed.
