I'll check out that that Symmetry album because I've heard good things about it.

I think IDIB is one of the best labels going at the moment.

Sounds interesting, I wish they had something on Spotify or MOG...or even Amazon. The only thing I could find was a song on Youtube and it was kind of lame without a beat to it. I'll have to do some more searching.

Edit: found it on iTunes, I'll take the $10 chance.

I ended up buying the following from Italians' website:

DESIRE - SELF TITLED DEBUT ALBUM - CD $5.00
Chromatics - In The City - CD $5.00
GLASS CANDY - 'Beatbox' CD $5.00
MIKE SIMONETTI & JOHNNY JEWEL - Albuterol - CD $5.00
Italians Do it Better - 'Solid Gold' CD $5.00
Italians Do It Better - 'Presents: After Dark' CD $5.00

The other Chromatics and Glass Candy album weren't available. Thanks for the heads up on the label.

  6. Not quite on point, but if early '90s post-rockish stuff is OK I'd suggest anything off the album Hex by Bark Psychosis - great early evening/late night urban driving music. Check out "Absent Friend", for ex.

    Thomas Dolby--Flying North
    Jeff Beck--Freeway Jam (I know it's from 1975)
    The Tubes--Fantastic Delusion
    Missing Persons--Walking In LA

Several scenes from "To Live and Die in LA" were filmed in my neighborhood bar, Utro's Crest Cafe in San Pedro.

Yeah, I ended up streaming most of it from MOG. The rest of it I had to do via YouTube or Soundcloud. (before I bought it)

No problem! I've played it for a few other people and they loved it too. :righton:

The whole EP is amazing - you should get it. It's available in lossless here:

The fantastic cover of this song by the Deftones is the first thing I thought of. The original is great, as well!

This was the album that was the bridge between her Christian years and secular years before her return to Christian music.
