I kind of liked the old Van Halen commercial for 1984. "Even George Orwell couldn't predict an album like this!" or words to that affect while Jump was playing. 1984 the album and 1984 the book were both HUGE in 1984.
Original U.K. EMI "LP Hit Parade" Window Poster (Jan, 1964)
Note: brand new "With The Beatles" LP knocks "Please Please Me" LP
from #1 down to #2 . Superb!
Capitol Records U.S. "Revolver" Promo Poster (1966)
Original Apple Records U.S. layout artwork for the John Lennon - Rock'N'Roll LP (1975)
An infamous one

George Harrison - Dark Horse
How about an infomercial?
Pt. 2 Beastie Boys Infomercial for Hello Nasty pt. 2
Pt. 3 Beastie Boys Infomercial for Hello Nasty pt. 3
Nick Lowe - Labour of Lust

The same guy who did the artwork for Appetite For Destruction.

Gasslight Records - Melbourne, 1980's:
(assuming record store adverts fit the topic)
I liked the tv ad for Elvis Costello's Get Happy!
I did luck out (big time!) years ago when given this freebee from a very cool record store:
Separate names with a comma.
