Just added another RCA label - this one is the one they used in the '80's. Strange that it wasn't there already given it's prevalence.

Just added a Sesame Street, a Golden, and a Kid Stuff label. I also fixed an Atlantic, and the A&M Disco. I also added various sleeves.

I was not feeling well a couple of nights ago when I did the old yellow Epic record company sleeve. As a result, I imagined I was through with that sleeve when I really wasn't. It was about ¾ finished and I accidentally uploaded the unfinished version. I realized it a few minutes ago and just finished fixing it. Sorry about that.

Thanks for keeping the recold label logos! Too many album cover restorers remove them. I think they add authenticity and history.

Nice! I miss seeing the labels, as I sold my vinyl decades ago for the CD version.

Now this one's a winner! Bravo! Well, not exactly. It is very clean, just like my album cover, but the edges are rough, especially on the right side, and the car's colors in the right-hand side have a blemish.

The "Emerald City" cover has the correct color tone, but what's all that dust?

That's not dust. It's an overly-contrasted cover - that's the way it is.

As for "Robbery"'s edging, I'll take a look at it again. I must have missed it. My bad.

Thanks for the critique. It really does help.

I looked at "Emerald City" again and @Grant is right about it. It does have a "dusty" look but my scanner took it a little too far. I'm currently working on a more accurate cover. I've pulled back the brightness significantly (that's what the scanner was adding). If I need to pull back contrast in Photoshop, I'll do that too. The color is right on, though.

All fixed. My bad. Only the brightness was taken down. The contrast remained as it was.

"Robbery"'s issue was largely the same. The image was brightened too much by the scanner. I brought it down in Photoshop. I also magnified the image by about 300% and removed the imperfections on the right side and elsewhere. I removed so many imperfections last night that I simply missed a few. The work on this was very intense.

Again, thanks for catching all this, @Grant. Much appreciated.

I am indeed impressed with the accurate colors of the "Robbery" cover.

That. Was. A. Bear. LOL!! My cover isn't destroyed by any means. It's just well-loved (by me) in all the wrong ways. The things got ring wear in all the wrong places and rubbing from being taken in and out of my collection to be listened to. It really suffered from my love of Teena's music. "Emerald City" was acquired later and placed in an jacket protector as soon as I got it. I've loved it every bit as much ("You So Heavy" is the work of GENIUS!). Her stuff was achieved "buy-on-note-unheard" status with me as soon as I knew of her. I've always been rewarded. More LP's of hers are coming. I have CD's of the last two Epic albums but never got the LP's. I've ordered both and will add them to the site. 'Course, the stuff on Cash Money and Stax won't be on LP so I can't add that. Ditto on "Passion Play".

I don't know why so much praise is lavished on "Starchild" when "Robbery" is the better of the two albums. BTW, you do have the 45 RPM single mix of "Fix It", don't you?

As much as I also played "Robbery", i'm surprised at how pristine my cover is. What I also admire about your version is that you got the clarity on the money.

With that, perhaps you could redo the "Starchild" cover. It also suffers from that over-brightness/contrast grain.

My interest in Teena's music dropped off after "Naked To The World", and I have all of them up to that point.

What I would like to get is the cover of Switch's second album. That's the one I played the most of, and is, IMO, the best one of the bunch.

And, one more request when you get around to it: the B.T. Express covers, especially "Do It 'Till You're Satisfied?
