I would say yes, but there are still some good prices on Amazon.ca

Damn, that sucks. Good label. They have a couple of Albert Lee sets that I wanted to pick up. I'd better track those down soon, hope they don't go too high in price.

Yeap! better jump on them while you can!
Being an Aussie label, they don't manufacture these things in huge amounts..

Shame. I have their fine Animals hits comp and once had their groundbreaking Velvet Underground box set

    Sad news.
Kevin used to come into the pressing plant where I worked. A lovely man.
Last time we spoke I was desperately trying to convince him to re- release the Ugly Things albums as a box set. Sadly he said it was just not economically viable.
    Will miss Raven.

Great I’m glad they are coming back. It’s a great label.

Their mastering was all over the map. Their Bill Withers 2-fer caused me to seek out the US Sony remasters as a replacement. But I was happy with their Tony Joe White Dangerous/Eyes reissue, even though the bonus tracks were noisy needledrops...but at least I have Eyes on CD.

What a relief! Even if they don't pursue releasing new compilations, it will be nice if they can gradually bring a number of their previous titles back into print. You don't realize how valuable these CDs become until one goes OOP and is unavailable through most retail outlets.

    Hurrah!

I was just listening to the Delbert McClinto twofer with Victim of Life's Circumstances yesterday, that's an essential disc that should never be out of print.

another one of the great now almost forgotten Aussie reissue labels, are Canetoad Records.
I went looking online for 'The Diamonds', the 50's doo-wop group from the 50's on Cd, and totally
forgot I had one on 'Cantetoad' already! Great Cd.
they still have a website, but not sure if it is active too much, the new releases are pretty well finished.
they, live Raven, produced some great quality discs, mainly Australian artists, but they did feature
a few international releases too, label worthwhile checking out.
all of the ones I have, also come with great liner notes and some with
    discography. quality!

Your thoughts on the sound? I thought it was a pretty mixed bag SQ-wise.

I was just enjoying Raven’s comp of New Riders of the Purple Sage, “Wasted Tasters 1971-75”.

I've got the Webb Pierce and Faron Young discs of theirs, I'll have to check them out again but I recall being really pleased with them at the time.

I'm not always the best person to ask about this, cloth ears and modest stereo, but to me the quality through my system is pretty good. I'm blown away by the first album anyway as it's such an exceptional piece of work.

Raven also issued three twofers with Bobbie Gentry's six solo albums for Capitol. Some have some bonus tracks as well. I am a Bobbie Gentry fan and it was grezt to be get all that music rounded up.
