THere were a series of remasters a couple of years ago that I had to go and look for confirmationof the existence of I wound up buying most of them through an Italian Mailorder company called Soundohm
    http://www.soundohm.com/product_search/tab/artist/id/11040/
I think most of those there will be those reissues, whereas other sites may still have the releases from 20 odd years ago.
    Great, great band

THis has been around in various forms for a while I think. If i'm thinking right it's the set that was released as maiden Of The Cancer moon by Psycho in the 80s with one track duplicated, Then came out as the 1st disc of Lost Gold & Silver with the tracks playing order switched around from the original concert sequence and most of the banter removed.
The most recent release had some people complaining that Duncan had turned his guitar up in the mix and Cippolina's down.
So while it's a great gig that captures them at something like their peak I'm not sure teh best version of it exists on cd yet.

I love all three Pilmsouls live CDs, this, One Night In America, and Live! Beg Borrow and Steal all totally essential.

One of my favorite live albums ever:

Post-Radio Birdman (who have three great live albums out) (and also post-Visitors), this album also has Scott Asheton of the Stooges on 2nd guitar and Dennis "Machine Gun" Thompson of The MC5 on drums.

Radio Birdman's Breaks My Heart never sounded as powerful as on here.
The Visitors' songs all them the LP versions in the dust.
The version of November 22nd, 1963 (by Scott's band, Destroy All Monsters) blows away the original to bits.
Very energetic take on the MC5's Gotta Keep Movin', and maybe the best cover of Looking At You ever.

    Another totally superb one:

The version to get of this is the original, not this one shown; the remaster is totally compressed.
This has the best versions of Solid As A Rock and Rock and Roll Soldiers, and one of the finest covers of Shake Some Action you'll ever hear.

Very well known in Australia but probably criminally overlooked abroad....... The Angels - Liveline. Killer Aussie rock. These guys should have been international heavyweights.

Glass Harp - "Live! at Carnegie Hall" (recorded in 1971)

Possibly the best classic rock power trio you have never heard of, led by Phil Keaggy - perhaps the best classic rock guitarist you have never listened to. Although Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh and Rory Gallagher most probably did not laud Phil on any TV show, his band could rival Experience, Cream, James Gang and Taste on stage.

Their modern live albums, "Strings Attached" (2000) and "Live at the Beachland Ballroom" (2008), are no slouches either.

A Little Light Music- by Jethro Tull, I am sure that we are very familiar with other great live albums by this band, but this is a particular underrated one, that I like very much.

Great live album, but I don't think it qualifies as "unknown."
