Remembering Rory Gallagher. Gone 22 Years Ago Today

Late addition to thread - just bought the 5cd original album classics box set - the two most recent releases in the set Jinx ('82) and Fresh Evidence ('90) are just excellent ... sadly missed, and wished I'd seen him live ...

 

I just happened to spin the first Taste today, great album took me years to find a nice copy like the one i have. Just need On The Boards and a couple mid and late career albums think I have 6-8 albums I'm a huge fan

 

Just played deuse first uk pressing tonight fantastic. Just need top priority photo finish stage s live.looking for taste lps so hard to find clean copies.

 

Great guitarist. Going to have to spend n some Rory this evening.

Keep looking, they are out there and will eventually surface as collectors like us kick the bucket. I sold mine (mint condition) for less than 50 cents a piece a few years ago when I sold off the bulk of my LPs....

 

rory is great i am irish so have to love him gary Moore close second for me,

 

Will do got 7 of his lps of ebay in mint condition over last year 30-40 pound each from st up to calling card from 78 onwards on the hunt

 

My wife is 100% Irish. I am 100% German. She has no clue who Rory is.
