I know I’m nitpicking, but the first B-52s album was released in the late 70s.

Whew. Luckily I have most of those titles already. And I have all the ones I want in my collection!

But after my purchasing run of the last month, this is a welcome thing!

Not much interesting to me. I’d consider the Los Lobos s/t if it was some sort of themed colored vinyl. But otherwise, my original copy will suffice.

And weren’t the master tapes for the B-52’s s/t and Wild Planet lost or damaged or something? Wasn’t AF going to do a gold CD of the s/t album, but ultimately passed on it because of that?

My bad; MFSL did "By the Light of the Moon". Haven't gotten that yet, another title for which the original is easy to find, cheap and sounds good. But MFSL also did "Kiko" which is of course essential. Great sound and really tough to find on vinyl otherwise.

Previous statements aside, if the Rhino reissue of "Wolf" is done by Chris Bellman, I'll probably end up buying it..

I couldn't resist ordering this, especially as I don't already have the album in any format:

Since I posted it in the other Alice thread, I might as well post it here too.

According to Amazon UK, the colours for the three Alice Cooper releases are:
    Dada - orange
    Flush the Fashion - green
Zipper Catches Skin - clear/black swirl

This could be real great if we could find out if any of these are from master tapes i.e. AAA and mastered/pressed by the best. I’m thinking of some of those fantastic Rocktober and Start Your Ear Off Right releases Rhino has done. Fingers crossed!

I recived the Yes tri-colored ep. I have yet to listen to it, but I can say there is no mastering information and I am pretty sure it was pressed at GZ. The lp comes in a poly lined sleeve.

both B-52's LPs are pressed at RTI and cut by Chris Bellman, FYI. even though i don't believe they are AA or from a master, they do sound quite nice.

Man, I wish Rhino would at least give the cutting info. I want that Rod Stewart hits, on pink wax.
