Last night I picked up.... Faces-First Step, orange vinyl Rhino Rocktober,$12 for an "as new" copy. Been comparing this morning to a VG+ OG green label WB and they're mighty close in sound. Might be a hair more air and definition in the OG but the orange one is quiet in comparison to the OG's sn. Those guys sure sounded loose and funky. :)Rod,:)Woody,:)Ronnie,:)Kenny,:)Ian

I would assume for those albums already released once that they would have the same mastering. Only difference would be the colored vinyl. That's the way it's worked in the past.

It's nice that Rhino is doing the first couple of Dio albums.

Now if they would just go back and do the Dio-fronted Sabbath albums, like Sabs fans have been begging for several years....

although sabbath starts and ends with ozzy for me, this really surprised me to learn that at least heaven & hell and mob rules are OOP on LP, they should be readily available and are considered essential to many

Do you think the new Dio is from the boxset that came out in 2016?

Disappointing that they don't continue to issue the records from the faces box set...after the first one in orange vinyl last year, i was expecting more in each campaign...

I'm interested in the Richard and Linda Thompson. I got rid of my 4 Men with Beards reissue last year.

2017 rhino reissue of ooh la la was another example of a record only available in the united states...in europe, single releases from the faces box set was only first step on orange vinyl

I just picked up a copy of Faces - Ooh La La. Nice to see it was cut by Kevin Gray, but does anyone else notice a dropout at the end Silicone Grown?
