Used to have the japanese SHM remastered CD and loved the sound. Lent it and never got it back. Now I came across a used 2012 AM rerelease that according to Discogs is not remastered and the sound is excruciatingly trebly. Had to reduce treble by 60% just to make it listenable. And it cost me and arm and a leg to boot !! Anyone has the non-remastered CD and thinks it sounds bad ?

What is RW-NEC? Thread titles like this don't help at all and your post doesn't explain it either.

I have Japanese Rock Legend series UIC-Y 9295 card cd,and it is excellent but pricey If you can find a copy, bought my copy from japan a few years back worth finding this original even comes with foil insert and paper work, I have 2012 A&m reissue Real Gone Music RGM-0119 cd it's good but my japanese cd better in my opinion. Also have my original UK vinyl copy still sounds great after 40 odd years.
