Wow! I was unaware of that - thanks for the tip. I really like that track too.

    Thanks to @Selteab as well!

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but generally Ringo Starr threads sink as fast as Jimmy Buffett threads so I didn't want to start a brand new one.
As a completist, Mr. Jinks, I thought you might have particular interest or info.

I have in my possession a very interesting Ringo item.

Back in '04 I mailed off to the office of David Fishof, the original promoter of the All Starr Band tours, for Ringo's --- Tour 2003 CD.

I don't remember where I learned I could do this, it may have been ticket related. And it was a bit expensive ($25. If I recall), but as a completist I had to have it.

The CD I received has completely different disc and booklet graphics from the commercial release. The booklet is laid out differently as well, although most of the text is identical. The track list and timing is also the same.

    The one difference in text are these three lines;

    1) Package Design -- Karen Finkel Fishof at Finkeland.com
    2) Assistant to Ringo Starr -- Joshua Fishof
    3) 2003 David Fishof Presents, Inc. and Roccabella, Inc.

These lines are not on the commercial issue.

No reference to any Fishof was made on the commercial release except; "Ringo Logo: Karen Finkel" --- NOTE that it's not "Karen Finkel Fishof".

And just now, before I went to make this post, I googled David Fishof and found that his association with Ringo ended in, yes, 2003 which makes things all the more curious. Was he going behind Ringo's back?
    Was he stealing from Ringo?
Was this why their association ended or a result?

Lastly, I (my wife) had a couple side by side comparison photos prepared, but I (she) couldn't get them uploaded.
So if I've piqued anyone's interest (ah ah Mr. Jinks) we (she) need a little tutorial on how to go about making those pictures available for you.

It's as easy as copy and pasting the image.

    Thanks, Darren.
She's much more adept than I am, but she's still not able to get it. She had already tried to copy and paste but it wouldn't appear. She then tried looking up the URL but it wouldn't do that either.
She thinks maybe it's because we're working with a phone and an IPad.
Any more detailed suggestions for us?

    Is it this?

Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band - Ringo Starr And His All-Starr Band Live In Concert

I saw the above in a store, where the display only had CD booklets, while the jewel cases and CDs were behind the counter. I wanted the King Biscuit album and they almost gave me that one instead!

Cool! I use imgur.com. When you post a (free!) image there, you then just need a link to the .jpg page for it. I described it awhile back thusly:
Question about George Harrison's "Somewhere In England" (1980 version)

I'm usually on iPad these days myself, and they've made it a little trickier since then, by "hiding" their upload link (I think they want you to use their app). Still, just go to: Imgur and then you should get the "New post" or "Browse or drag images here" option. It's relatively simple from there, if you use the above post as a guide to the logic...

Okay, it is the same photo of Ringo, but on the left side are five smaller photos of each of the All Starr Band members with their names. At the top is a small square that has
    "Recorded Live
    - July 2003
    - At Casino Rama
    - Canada"
And instead of "live in concert" it says "Tour 2003"

Mr. Jinks, the IMG box above is what we get.

I'm operating from a phone as well, so I'm not sure where the problem would be.

Hmm, don't know what to say. You need to upload the image - when you do, you get a specific page/link. You then copy the page/link that ends in .jpg into the "picture link" icon above. When I look at your link above, it only shows the generic imgur page, not a page with a unique identifier after (e.g. www(.dot)imgur.com/lqky56a. jpg - note, that's not a real link, just an example of what it might look like). Thanks for trying, tho...

Thank you, Mr. Jinks. What a relief.

Okay, the Fishof CD will be the upper most image and then directly beneath that will be the corresponding commercial image.

Awesome! :righton: Thanks for your efforts! Trust me, once you get the knack of it, you'll be happy to have the ability to post your own images.

You have to get both country's issues of Old Wave vinyl because the cover color is different on them. :shh:

I bought them both at time of issue, I don't remember how much they were, but it wasn't very expensive at all.

Probably Mr. Fishof asked Ringo Starr for one or even several autographs...

    Peace and Love!

P.S. Somewhere there is a basis for a parody in Starr's biggest solo hit: "All I Want Is An Autograph"...

That cover looks dreadful! How did Ringo allow that to be released?

While I don't disagree, I would also say it's only a promo single that very few folks have ever seen AND I'd refer you to some of Ritchie's other more wider released albums and singles...

    :wtf:

    How?

    Why?

What on Earth was he thinking? How did he honestly expect people to buy the single when it had a cover like that? I sincerely hope it was because of his alcohol addiction, because if he seriously thought that was a good cover, then quite frankly I'm surprised he wasn't locked up in a mental institute.

I think his ex Nancy Andrews was calling the shots with this abomination. Ringo looks like a lifeless zombie monarch at a Studio 54 bash.
