Known him for many many years. I will miss him. Always with a fun conversation.

That's awful - Allen was always the coolest guy about anything you needed to ask. He just helped me with a record a few weeks ago. Damn.

 

RIP Allen. I'm sorry to hear this. Amoeba is the best. RIP Allen.

 

Good guy, though I only knew him by face. Didn't know he was ailing.

 

Alright i just read the Aoemeba link. I knew him pretty well. He helped me many times. Very helpful and friendly and knowledgable. Really cool dude. Many times he helped direct me to the proper genere section for what i was looking for. And he opened a cd for me a couple of visits ago to make sure it was a live one, called someone else over to make sure. Nice guy. Not that old. Sad man. He worked at Captain Video which was a great video store. They had sections by director and odd sections for weird movies. Great store.

Very sad i just saw him so recently. RIP Allen.

 

Wow...that's a shame. Didn't know he was sick. A good guy. Condolences to family and friends.

 

Was there in 1998 bought a few Fillmore/Avalon posters and they had a sealed Stereo Butcher up front 10k ....good time RIP>
