    Not sure who Phil Spector shafted worse, The Crystals or Darlene Love. They were great on what was really them, though. Had no idea she was close by. RIP.

    Small world for sure, it's frustrating to think you could've possibly interviewed Barbara if your paths had crossed. Although nothing I've seen has indicated as such, I'd be curious to know if Barbara ever did some special appearances as a performer after initially leaving the music business.

    Fairly certain she has played some of the oldies package shows, I've seen some of those in Florida with other acts from the 50s and 60s. Not sure how they bill her, guess they could say La La Brooks formerly of The Crystals or something along those lines.
