RIP Bob Larbey - British Sitcom Writer

    He was responsible for The Good Life, Ever Decreasing Circles and more - some great, some good and some downright rotten (Get Some In, anybody?) It's interesting to watch some of those shows now. They manage to get laughs without relying on the word, 'shag'. It's as if they actually rely on character writing and witty lines. God knows how they managed that... It's like the past was another country or somethin'.

    That's a shame. I wasn't aware he was behind those awful Karl Howman shows, but The Good Life and Ever Decreasing Circles are two of the best UK sitcoms. I vaguely femember Get Some In. Not good, uh?
