"The cause of death was not disclosed." When the person is 86 who cares? Maybe, if there's an afterlife, he can get it on with Anthony Perkins, again, and not be judged for it. That would be a cool heaven.
He also had great music success with a pop hit with a cover of the Sonny James country classic "Young Love" (Sonny's version was also a pop hit.
The Tab Hunter Confidential documentary from a few years ago was excellent. He came across as an extremely likeable guy.
I fondly recall his stint on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, temporarily playing Mary’s father (whose looks had changed after falling into a vat of Rustoleum).
