No! Just no! So sad about these news :(
Dusty, thank you for everything, for all those years of great music. May you rest in peace.

"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX. We, along with legions of ZZ Top fans around the world, will miss your steadfast presence, your good nature and enduring commitment to providing that monumental bottom to the ‘Top'. We will forever be connected to that "Blues Shuffle in C.”

You will be missed greatly, amigo.

Dusty was as steady as a rock with his fingers on that bass and his powerful vocals were always welcome.

    A great player. RIP Dusty…

Unbeknownst to me at the time, that little three piece with the huge sound introduced me and a whole new generation of kids to the blues through Tube Snake Boogie, Cheap Sunglasses, and the well loved MTV rotation of tracks from Eliminator.
As a music fan, how can anybody NOT love some ZZTop in the early hours after some great times! A how-how-how-how. Thanks for those times.

Oh no. I am more a casual ZZ Top fan, but I like their songs when I hear them on the radio, especially the bass. Sad news:(
