Was wondering if something was wrong as he's not be on air lately. His knowledge of movies was deep and he always brought out the best in his co-hosts, Drew Barrymore and Alec Baldwin especially. He'll be missed. RIP.

Yeah he wasn't looking great the last few times I saw him on tv last year. I'm a TCM junkie, I'll miss his intros. I do like Ben Mankiewicz, but there was no denying Robert's love, enthusiasm and knowledge for the movies and stars he spoke about. RIP

I'm a long way from being any kind of expert on classic films but I've developed an interest in the past few years, chalk it up to old age. TCM is my go-to channel even if I just catch a scene or two from a movie. Mr. Osborne was such a great presence on TCM and had a talent for summarizing interesting facts about the films. Very sad to hear he has passed.

Sad news. I was late to the TCM bandwagon, as it was not on my cable until just a few years ago, but I certainly enjoyed his intros, and actually saw him at live events a few times before I knew him as "The TCM Guy." RIP.

Ben Mankiewicz has been the number two guy for a while and the main face since Roberts appearances ended. I like Ben, he's doing a good job. He's just not Robert.

Osborne had a hilarious cameo on UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT last year.

He probably wouldn't want the job, but I'd love to see them hire Leonard Maltin as a part-time host for weekends or something.

But, yes, there was only one Robert Osborne. As rmos says, he was TCM.
