Well, a lot actually. She has multiple platinum sellers and top 10 albums. I’m not really a fan, but she was a big solo artist outside of Fleetwood Mac.

Eno should definitely be in. The guy is a flippn’ genius, and has produced a number of big albums by big artists...as well as his work with Roxy, Bowie, etc.

Sort of a safe, bland list..
Not a bad list, and def. not a great list but just kinda blah..

    Many repeats from last year(s)...
    Only 15 acts
No early influence...bummer, so many acts deserving recognition.
Overall, fairly predictable with one real surprise..
    John Prine
Good to see Rundgren and Roxy Music.
Predict that Prine is inducted under Musical Excellence.
And since Janet Jackson again nominated, they will induct.
Same for the Zombies. They’ve been nominated for 4th time, so they want them in.
And they deserve to be in.
Jackson or Nicks will win fan vote
So with 5 performers inducted, it will be
    Jackson
    Zombies
    Radiohead
    Nicks
Def Leppard (prob 3rd in fan voting)
    and Prine as musical excellence

With a myriad of member of Tull, the HOF could someday put Ian Anderson in the Hall under musical excellence.
Doesn’t have the same ring as Tull, tho.
So they will probably call it Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull or something.
    Still kinda clunky.

    Criteria boils down to
    25 Years After first recording
    Impact
    Influence
    Musical excellence and talent

they were NOT a rock and roll band, they were a TV cast that auditioned for their jobs.......the key word here being 'job'.

The R&R Hall of Shame is a complete sham that no one takes seriously!!! How dare they ignore my pet favorite band?!?

Every year, the same predictable grousing and butthurt. . .

Think of the Hall as a wide net of various music forms that encompass the broad term of rock...
If it was strictly rock and roll they would have stopped at Link Wray and the Johnny Burnette rock and Roll Trio.
(Who aren’t in the Hall btw)
Jackson will be a shoe in.
Ll Cool j...prob. not this year.
