The Zombies deserve to be there if only because of Odessey And Oracle. I'd say the same about Love due to Forever Changes.

Others have indicated a lack of interest in the past but still been nominated/inducted.

    Shouldn't really matter...

Chris DeVoe RIP Vickie Mapes Williams (aka Equipoise)

Todd went to the trouble of saying that he wasn't interested in front of the entire 2017 graduating class of the Berklee School of Music, and he still got nominated.

He's changed his tune fortunately, when somebody apparently pointed out just how much being inducted would be worth to his bank account. It's not like anybody's knocking down his door to have him perform a concert on HBO these days.

Stevie Van Zandt just tweeted his list of those who should have g0t in. I agree with all of them! It's almost criminal that Linc Wray is not in!

Procol Harum, closely followed by the J Geils Band, Johnny Burnette & Rock And Roll Trio, Junior Walker & the All Stars, Bad Company, Delaney & Bonnie, Raspberries, and individuals like Linc Wray, Roy Brown, Dick Dale, Gary US Bonds, Taj Mahal, Joe Cocker, it’s a long list.

Think the Zombies will be inducted.
Should know in a week or so.
    They deserve induction.

Both groups deserve it on more than those 2 individual albums.

    Love has never been nominated.
    Doubtful if they ever will.
Too bad. They deserve at least a nomination.
    I’m for induction too

I agree, they have made other valuable works apart from those records. But those two albums, higher or lower, are included in every Top 100 albums list, while several inducted artists weren't able to make such an acknowledged masterpiece.

I like John Hiatt a lot, just as I liked Mark Grace when he was still playing ball and helped the Diamondbacks to a World Series title. They're good, consistent, and reliable - but sadly I don't see the voters ever getting them in a Hall of Fame.

Both the voters will vote these other ones in. Damn shame

I still think it's near blasphemy that Marc Bolan hasn't been inducted yet. The influence he had on so many musicians is immense but often understated.

Dick Dale belongs there, he was an innovator and inspired the whole 'surf rock' movement.

Both he and Link Wray overlooked.
Think they may take care of Dale by making him a singles category like they did with Wray.
I don’t like the singles category. Think it’s used to bypass an induction as performer.
