I always thought Huey Lewis looked more like Hugh "Ward Cleaver" Beaumont than a rock star.

 

Probably Phil Collins, Mike Rutheford and Tony Banks win this contest, but I think Elton is a close second..

Good point! maybe we should not be allowed to post pictures of rockstars that portray them after their 40's..An example: Robert Plant is one of the great rockstars, but in a picture like this he surely does not look like a rockstar

But I think they both look like Soft Rock Stars.

 

I work on occasion in the private VIP pool area at a major Vegas strip hotel, and have seen plenty of rock stars sans any makeup, hair dripping wet with their rotund bellies cascading over the front of their bathing suit. Trust me folks, just about NONE of these guys look like rock stars in that setting. Sometimes it's downright shocking actually. Can't tell you how many of them suddenly lost their "aura", at least compared to the way I had thought of them before. Wish I could share pics with you here but I'd lose my job, lol.

That said, I have no horror stories to tell (about rock stars anyways). They've all been pretty decent blokes.
