Rockford Files coming to DVD in December

Hopefully Uni will repackage these in a complete series set with the reunion movies using single sided disks and compact packaging. They did something similar for Murder She Wrote (minus the reunion movies). I had freezing issues on my Rockford S1.

 

Guys, it is on Netflix in HD and mostly looks pretty decent.

 

You are kidding I hope! The Nexflix HD ones are far more detailed.

 

As to the "far more" detailed observation -- the DVDs are plenty detailed and there's a limit to benefits from extra detail on stuff like this. Also, the Netflix too-much-color thing outweighed any extra-detail benefit, so overall I like the DVDs better. I could adjust the color downward for when I am watching on Netflix, but I like the easier maneuverability of the DVDs enough to outweigh Netflixing this.
