I picked this up on vinyl yesterday, mostly because I thought that the cover, with its giant airbrushed 70s Rod striding across the ocean, was a real hoot. After listening to the album, though, whoaa! I had always taken for granted that everyone was right when they said that Rod lost it after Never a Dull Moment, but boy is this album good. After one or two listens, I think that it might be his best album, or at least the best one that I've heard. I love "Three Time Loser," and the cover of Danny Whitten's "I Don't Want To Talk About It" is just devastating. The Faces' box set has made me realize that there was more to Rod than I thought - I'm going to be checking out more of his catalog in the future.
