He’s right. I’ve done enough damage to my ears at concerts so earplugs are a must for me now.

He used to be dumb and blind too. I saw a film about it.

This is too bad. Fronting such a notoriously loud band certainly wouldn't have helped.

I saw Roger live opening for Clapton in 2010. He sounded great, was in excellent shape and was very engaging, but he humorously spent much of the in-between song banter complaining about acid reflux and heartburn he was experiencing from some Mexican food he'd had earlier.

No surprise here, both Townshend and Entwistle before he died were deaf for decades. I wouldn't be surprised if Keith Moon was showing signs before he passed at only 32.

Well.. Roger, you did have like three men surrounding you blasting you with nuclear force for years. I often wonder how, or why you weren't the first to leave the earth at the hands of the other three.

This makes sense on how him and Pete get along better in later years. Neither has friggin' clue what the other is saying.

I was considering going to see him sing Tommy this year. Can he still sing? I would think not being able to hear might effect that a little, right?

I saw The Who (or The Two, if you prefer) in Toronto 2 years ago and thought that he sounded good, though he does sound a little like someone who has new false teeth and isn't quite used to them yet. He still has a lot of power for someone his age and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

Will they change the name to 'The Huh'?...

The only benefit to the decline of Rock. Saving peoples' hearing.

They should have changed their name to The What? after Moon died.

Spot on, Roger. Last concert I was at I got mad at myself for not bringing ear plugs.

Got out some Kleenex. It helped.
