I've just completed my collection of the Stones reissue series on SACD. Well, let me qualify that... I've got every regular album (UK and US versions where applicable), as well as "The Singles Collection: The London Years". What I don't have are the other three greatest hits collections... "Hot Rocks", "More Hot Rocks", and "Big Hits: High Tide and Green Grass".

Here's my question: Is there any material on these three Greatest Hits collections that I don't already have on the other discs? Alternate mixes/versions, etc.? What about exceptional packaging/liner notes? I'm a sucker for that stuff!

    Any help would be appreciated!

In summary, you do not need Hot Rocks if you have all the albums. But More Hot Rocks has a few unique songs:

    Bye Bye Johnny
    Everybody Needs Somebody version 2
    Fortune Teller
I've Been Loving You Too Long
    Money
    Poison Ivy

    and stereo versions of
    Child Of The Moon
    We Love You

"Big Hits: High Tide and Green Grass" includes the booklet with all of the color pictures like the original LP.

You need Hot Rocks for the stereo mixes of "Time Is On My Side (version 2)" and "Jumpin Jack Flash" and "Satsifaction".

More Hot Rocks also has a handful of exclusive tracks.

    Get 'em both!
