Rolling Stones Target $255 and counting

I had a copy here a couple of months ago for around $100. The disc and booklet were great, but the back insert was a bit wavy. No serious warping and no stains from water, but it was wavy probably due to age. I couldn't get $100, and I eventually sold it for around $80.

Prices here and on eBay are very different, as if you hadn't noticed. First off, eBay runs auctions. Of course you are going to see some astronomical prices through auctions. Folks sometimes get caught up in the excitement of owning a rare item, and sometimes pride takes over. When that happens to two or more people, the bidding goes through the roof. Obviously if someone here priced the Stones target for $255, we would all laugh and move on without giving it a second thought. Ditto if we saw a $255 Buy It Now on eBay.
