  2. Always enjoyed his work. Got to meet him once when he and his wife Jessica Walter came and gave a talk to our screenwriting class (taught by her brother Richard) about the importance of allowing characters to contribute to what you write on the page. Seemed like a really nice man, had quite a sense of humor. Loved him in Kaz , Norma Rae and Slaughterhouse Five. A terrific actor.

Oh I forgot the marvelous The Hot Rock.

Aww, I first saw him in the '70s movie Batman & Robin, about two young NYC cops fighting police corruption. He starred with, lemme think, the guy who played "Quentin Collins" on Dark Shadows.

Aside from Redford, who is more out of place than an aardvark at a yodeling contest.

Tickle your a$$ with a feather?

My favorite performance of his is the one he was most ashamed of. Up The Academy!

Even though I knew Leibman was married to Jessica Walter, whenever I heard his name I thought of his ex, Linda Lavin. He seemed like a good guy.

    RIP

Don't know if it's good or not, but....according to this little tid-bit from Wiki:

In 2015, while serving as a Guest Programmer for Turner Classic Movies, Wright introduced the film with Robert Osborne. He explained that he first saw it as a child, and that he watched it again when he was making Hot Fuzz. He lifted the idea of an over-eager cop making busts at his new precinct before actually reporting for duty in Hot Fuzz.

  23. Would love to watch but Xfinity has consigned TCM to package Hell. I have to buy a $180 sports package that I would rarely use to watch TCM. It’s a pain in the ass and wish I could stream TCM for all of their programming.

You can't get TCM unless you buy their SPORTS PACKAGE?!?!?
