Michael Fischman (sp?), the only DJ we really know, will be in the new series.

I think that's the spelling, but not sure.

There's been reports that they are "talking" to Galecki about the prospect of him appearing in some capacity. I imagine money and time/schedule availability will be the determining factors in whether he shows up.

Unless they are starting show continuity over again, it's not a "reboot".

Well, they're restarting the show after it ended so I consider that a reboot even if it's not a total reboot of the concept.

It's more of a revival. Since the finale had the show be the work of author Roseanne, they have a lot of leeway in how to continue.

Roseanne is most definitely not a reboot. A reboot is when an old series is completely started over with brand new continuity, generally with new actors playing the old characters. Hawaii Five-O is a reboot.

Roseanne is simply a revival, with the added complication that the final episode of the original series (and possibly some elements of the final season) have been retconned out of continuity. But for the most part they are retaining the continuity of the original series and extending it, rather than starting over.

It wouldn't have been realistic to expect Galecki to do more than a guest appearance, given his schedule and the salary he can command now. I imagine he's doing this largely out of sentimentality or gratefulness to Roseanne for giving him his start.

Oh yeah, I agree. Good points. :)

They’ve retconned the final season, though. It never happened. The living room set is back to normal.

Is John Goodman wearing a fat suit? I thought he had lost weight...

That would be lame, if it was true. Especially while Roseanne gets to look her best.

Either that or it’s just the way he’s slouching on the couch. He looks pretty thin in all the other on-set photos and videos I’ve seen.

It may be cause of weight loss he has a lot of loose skin now.
Most shots I see of him are standing and I think clothes hide that to some degree.

Goodman lost about 200 lbs a couple years ago, but he appears to have possibly gained some of it back. He's still thinner than he used to be, but by no means is he a thin man, as is seen here:

I'll be damned. Upon further research, it turns out that shot is actually from a reunion photo shoot they did in 2008. So not representative of how Goodman looks now. I'm an idiot.

The resolution of the photo isn’t so great, but did you notice the framed photo of Glenn Quinn? I thought that was a nice touch.
