My list of Bee Gees RSO red cow CDs:

    Bee Gees' 1st
    Odessa
    Best of Bee Gees
    Greatest
    Living Eyes
    Rare Collection (Japan)
Staying Alive - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
    Bee Gees (zweitausendeins)

All of the above except the Greatest set are silver. I have a Best of Bee Gees from around the same time as a Polydor disc, both originate from West Germany

The "zweitausendeins" compilation has been replaced to feature the Polydor logo on later pressings, the original came in a 2-CD fatbox with a small RSO cow (outlined in white) on the front cover just below the b&w picture of the Bee Gees which makes it easy enough to spot. Some sellers on eBay Germany use the "zweitausendeins" in their listings but many do not so you have to go over them with a fine tooth comb as the release is simply titled Bee Gees.

I picked up a red cow RSO release of Cream's Disraeli Gears #823 636-2 made in West Germany today for $5.00.
    Not too bad!

There was a '70's TV commercial with the RSO Cow in Animation, talking about the then-recent issues of "Saturday Night Fever","Grease" and one more Lp ( I Forget Now which one it was!)...Do anyone here know if someone has it on You Tube?

Is the Silver-with-Red-Cow "Time Pieces" that is shown in the original post a Dennis Drake mastering or not?

How is its sound quality (in any event)?

I've got both Derek & The Dominoes' LAYLA and IN CONCERT on RSO CDs. Layla is West German, IN CONCERT is Japanese.

bumping this thread with a question: I just picked up Cream - Disraeli Gears here in Tokyo (P33W-50004), which has manufactured by Polydor K.K. Japan and the date of 1985 (I) on the back, the cover has P33W-50004 (823 636-2) below the RSO cow...yet the disc says Made In W. Germany with just the 823 catologue number...so is this a WG for Japan pressing? I didnt even know there was such a thing (????) I was thinking maybe this is the wrong disc inside, and how come it says made in Japan on the back, does that refer to just the artwork???
