If you are not looking to spend $90 or so for the MFSL version of Todd Rundgren Something/Anything?, Barnes & Noble has the Rhino version on sale for $11.99. I don't know how long the sale is running, but I picked up a copy last night.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been looking for this for a long time.

No problem. Many folks here knock the sound of the Rhino set, but I could not pass it up for $11.99. Since I was not too familiar with the album, I was not ready to jump in with the MFSL set.

I saw that at Best Buy in Murray, UT yesterday. Same price.

Not so surprising, I guess. It's one of the great bargains out there. After seeing this set for $11.99, it angers me to see Universal Deluxe Edition sets for $28. I know you get bonus tracks, but $28 is still steep.

Since when is the MFSL going for $90.? Seems like a sell price of $90. would be a rarity. Or, are you talking about sealed sets?

$10.99 at Deepdiscountcd with free shipping and no tax (for most states).

This was a 2-LP album, does it really total more than 80 minutes? Is there really a need for 2 CDs?

Deepdiscount shows the list price at $13.95

Unfortunately, it does. Todd Rundgren rambles on and on in between some of the songs. I edited out all that crap (crap to me, anyway) and was able to put both records on one CD-R.

I got mine sealed for right around 50 bucks if I remember correctly.

It's a big part of what makes the album's concept so wonderful. Just my opinion, of course, but I think that's doing a great disservice to Rundgren's conceptual creativity.

I can see your point. But, if putting all the songs on one CD-R means taking out his ramblings (which all it is, really) is fine for me!

To each his own, I guess! ;)
