Rush fans rejoice!
Oh man, hopefully we'll get some more Rush from Audio Fidelity too!
Roll The Bones wouldn't have been my first pick (that would've been A Farewell To Kings) but I have a soft spot for the album.
I would also prefer Farewell To Kings over Roll The Bones
Not to threadcrap, but has anyone heard any news from Marshall on some other upcomming releases?
Meh. What is this, like, the twelfth or thirteenth best studio album by Rush?
Its not the one I'd pick either but I wonder if the Mercury\Polygram era is
unavailable to license due to the supposed DVD-Audio\Blu-Ray re-issue campaign.
Beggars, as they say, can't be choosers.
Certainly not my favorite album, but I'll buy it and hope for more such releases.
Bought on sight.
Counterparts next, please!
Maybe if this record sounded better, more people would give it a chance. I can't wait to hear what Kevin does with this.
Anything in the catalog is welcome
Oh, HELL yes!
Cool deal! I like this album a lot and am looking forward to it.
As for post-Mercury releases, I would have voted for Vapor Trails since that one needs cleaning up the most, but I do like RTB better, so no complaints here.
No way, the old non-remastered cd sounds just fine.
Test for Echo?
no amount of audiophile remastering is going to make geddy's rapping sound good
NICE!!! I'm looking forward to this one. I was gonna buy the remaster but I think I'll wait now.
OMG.....yet another album I already have and don't need a duplicate copy. And this one lists at $30, not $25
This is getting beyond discouraging......
(Sorry for the thread crap...I know I'm sounding like a broken record on this subject, but in the last year I think there have been 3, maybe 4 releases that weren't doubles for me).
I do have a soft spot in my heart for this album, though, even if it's one of their weakest (IMO). It was the first one they released after I became a Rush fan in high school so it was the first "new" Rush album I bought. Also, my very first concert was seeing them on this tour (3d row right below Geddy, no less!).
