Just opened up UK version of vinyl set. The download code is for the BackToBlack site and offer MP3 and 24/44.1 WAV.
Bit of a poor show as the Ryan Adams site digital download version is 24/192 for the original album and 24/96 for bonus tracks!

Well that's disappointing. It's like the Carnegie Hall box set all over again

The deluxe version indeed includes the whole argument -- the song is Hairdresser on Fire.

So to be sure to get Bernie mastering we need to get the US version? This industry....!

Has the US version been confirmed to have the Bernie mastering or was that in reference to the standalone remaster put out before the deluxe? Sorry, playing catch up here

Also, can anyone confirm where the US version was pressed?

The album is proof positive that Robert Christgau is completely full of it!

This is SOOOO very Ryan Adams...

The very last song tucked away as the final track on the second disc of the reissue is "Locked Away." I've never heard this outtake before, and it sure doesn't sound anything like anything else from these sessions, but...

IT'S A TERRIFIC SONG--can't get it outta my head. :)

After being disappointed that the download with the UK box is only 24/44.1 I decided to buy the hi res version from pax am but the download keeps failing part way through. Has anyone else had this problem? Fortunately Chrome is letting me restart the download as the link is actually only valid for 3 attempts. I'm now on my 5th attempt.

I just got my box--got a good deal on it with a coupon from Soundstagedirect. The mastering is indeed BG, but I was disappointed to see that the pressing is GZ. There are indeed some scuffs on it from sloppy packing, but I haven't played it yet. I would love to know if anyone who bought this box also has the pallas pressing--I'm enough of a nut about this lp to buy the pallas pressing of the original 2lp if it pressing itself makes a difference in sound.

Too bad. I actually think I am going to buy the Pallas pressing too. And I already own the 2008 aural exploits limited Press which I bought when it was released

Mine arrived from Amazon USA today.
BG in all 8 sides of the dead wax.
Vinyl has a few fingerprints on it but otherwise ok. Haven't listened yet...

I listened to this album the other day for the first time in years. I'd forgotten how beautiful Oh My Sweet Carolina is.

It's an album I appreciate more now than when I originally bought it back in 2002 or so. I'm not 19 now!
