I don’t buy the Jacksons the same as Michael Jackson.

 

I understand about difference in album quality, but fans can still make 2 good Jacksons albums from 1976-1980. It was 5 years between Thriller & Bad. I like Bad, but I prefer a top 10 Jacksons comp. Think about how many fans Michael Jackson has & then how many are likely to name 10 Jacksons songs.

 

Nothing weak there at all. Hell of a run...

The problem with the sandwich analogy is that in an actual sandwich the bit in between is usually the best part and the reason for getting the sandwich in the first place!

 

Around the World is a masterpiece in my book. I'd say the Prince sequence to use is Dirty Mind/Controversy/1999.
