I would suggest Quiet Joys of Brotherhood from the Sandy album.

Beautiful vocal(s) from Sandy and the lament from Swarbrick at the end might just be my favourite musical piece from him. He held Sandy in such high regard and this piece says so without him saying a word.

The Byfield demos, for their beautiful simplicity. And on the other end of the spectrum, Next Time Around for the perfect strings by Harry Robinson.

Or maybe her whole body of work, there's enough time today.

A heartfelt tribute to Sandy... Ringing Down the Years by Dave Cousins -

And every time I hear your name
My eyes moist up with tears
As every word you ever sang
    Comes ringing down the years

My favourite song of hers, in terms of her own song writing (Swarb does a great version also)

Great performance...unbelievable there is so little performances of her.

The Fotheringay performances are great also.

Rest in peace Sandy. You are forever young.

I remember hearing the news on the radio. It was the same day that Bob Dylan's stint at Earl's Court was announced. Bitter sweet.

I was lucky enough to see her live several times. Sandy was the greatest voice these isles have ever produced.

I saw her drinking in a pub in Wimbledon with Trevor one time but alas I did not have the courage to say hello.

The purity of that voice and still there is so much passion in it.

One of the best examples of Sandy's singing is on "Suzanne" - although it's Iain Matthews we hear first:
