Keegan-Michael Key has never even appeared on SNL, unlike Baldwin, Damon, McCarthy, and Fey.

But if you really want to see him play Cory Booker, here you go.

YES! More QUALITY stuff like "Rough Night", "Ghostbusters (2016)" and "The Spy Who Dumped Me" please! SNL is holding her back from success on the silver screen!

Uhh, regardless, they did lampoon Booker's posturing in the season-opening Kavanagh skit. I'll let you tell us why that wasn't enough.

Just heard on the radio that Matt Damon and the SNL writers thought they could stop the SCOTUS nominee... :biglaugh:

This week’s opener starts with De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta deplaning in Istanbul in early October 2018... :yikes:

What if they’re under orders from Alec Baldwin? ;)

To me, Leslie Jones is just a one-dimensional actor, no matter what character she's playing. I feel the same way about Kenan Thompson. Just their bugged eyed 'stupid faces' are supposed to be continuously endearing?? Not for me! Their typical sarcastic lines wear thin. But, I guess there's an audience for just that, seeing their longevity as cast members.

Gosh, I don't think Leslie is in Keenan's league at all. Keenan is by no means one of the all time greats (other than for longevity), but he's a solid performer who does lots of different character types and I've never felt like he's the one who brings a sketch down. Leslie is just incompetent doing anything other than a one woman stand up bit.

its funny that snl cant seem to spin off running characters into movies like they used to....when was the last one? a night in the Roxbury? (oof) Mary Catherine Gallagher.... i guess they really don't have the name recognition anymore, I thought for sure Kristin Wiig would try she had s many but to her credit she didn't try

There was MacGruber in 2010, which Kristen was in, though her character wasn’t the lead.

yeah, that might've killed it, surprised they didn't try to make one out of her target lady (but thankful)
