There is a reason that Emerick is "Persona Non Grata" in the Beatles world these days. Very loud boos were present when he talked at the "NY Fest" about 7 years ago or so when his book came out. Has never been asked back since!

Very safe "1" remixes as I played the 2014 version on my home stereo system last night and while some tracks like "Day Tripper" have some extra punch, to these ears not much changed on the "1" remix CD

Do you actually think this is based in fact? "Albums not created for 5.1 are like films not shot in 3D"? Nonsense. If there are multitracks -- and the case of Sgt Pepper there are 4 tracks with multiple bounces so there are plenty of tracks to work with -- a 5.1 mix is just as valid and real as a mono or stereo mix.

Yeah the "Collection" was a nice packaging job and yeah the BBC Vol.1 sound upgrade on some tracks is very noticeable. Better source material used and 20+ years of technology improvements since the original BBC release date...........

I would think in what 8 months we have "Hollywood Bowl" on CD, the Ron Howard movie and now the "Pepper" box-I would say that is pretty good quantity and quality in my eyes!

Can someone who purchased the sets, send someone else digital copies of the files, legally? I'm not up with current copying laws and such. Ron

Can you please give some links to these "hundreds" of websites that don't agree with each other?

You don't need to believe my "opinions" - but you might like to listen to people like THX, Philips, Sony, Dolby, Lucasfilm etc. i.e. professionals.

Seriously, what the hell are you smokin' dude? The weight of evidence is against you. When you find yourself in a hole, it's usually better to stop digging...

Sean even solo Beatles CD's in the 90's-00's were rarely on sale or discounted like many artists were................
