I'm not entering the competition, as I'd preordered this release, being one of my all time favorite Jeff Beck albums, some months ago when it was announced for pre-order.

I had to report that my SACD Hybrid copy of Truth arrived today, and I wanted to congratulate you, Steve, on a particularly well-done job with this one. The soundstage is huge...the album possesses warmth, clarity and punch I never thought would be possible from this one. This is such an eclectic album, musically speaking, that it was all the more surprising just how much was revealed on a first spin. I bought this one back in '68 and it's one I've returned to often over the years, so I truly know it like the back of my hand. All the more surprising, then, at just how much Steve's master reveals in SACD format.

So, a big congrats to Steve; and congrats to those who are lucky enough to win these giveaways. If you didn't win, well, don't hesitate...just buy this one before it's gone...it's truly one of the classics of rock guitar and has never sounded this good.

So, Steve...howzabout sprinkling some of your magic dust on Beck-Ola? It runs a very close second, for me, to Truth.
