Oh absolutely. And I think he wrote something about her, as well.

I'd listen to her more if all her best material wasn't brickwalled. Makes it hard to enjoy.

According to Sheryl's Team on Facebook, "Target and HSN will have deluxe versions" of the new album.

Here's the link to the Target version (with 3 extra tracks, not listed):

I think Sheryl's at her best when she keeps things simple, the first album was a breath of fresh at the time of it'release, it still sounds that way today for that reason, her 2nd and 3th albums were excellent as well. The next two were overproduced, and mastered way too loud for me, nothing i've heard since has impressed me very much, i'm hoping the new one is a return to form for her.

It's funny because I like her best AFTER her first three albums! Just goes to show "different strokes for different folks"!

Love the sound of both of these two new songs. Probably mastered too loud, but the compositions and arrangements are great. I've been listening to Sheryl since I was a little girl--she's one of those artists I've never called one of my absolute favorites but I have always enjoyed her work. I thought her last two albums (Feels Like Home and 100 Miles from Memphis) both felt kind of directionless and like attempts to find a new successful style and recapture chart success. Seems like Be Myself is just trying to do what the title says--focus on what has always worked for her and screw the charts. All good news!

I'll definitely be checking out the new album.

i like sheryl crow, she just got over-saturaed ala phil collins and now dave grohl (who seems to have pulled it back a bit of late)

would love to someday know the whole story about her and kevin gilbert.

I absolutely love her first 2 albums. Big drop from her self titled to The Globe Sessions.
Since then, it's been hit or miss to me. Really enjoyed Homecoming Queen from Feels Like Home.
