The titles says it all. Would you be interested/like to see that Audio Fidelity releases Triumph's masterpiece "Allied Forces" as a Gold CD?

Not to many poll options: Yes, I don't know for sure, No

    Thanks for participating.

No, but I would be in line for Just A Game. It is still my favorite Triumph. So I didn't vote, because I like Allied Forces and Triumph but not a Gold CD of it.

"Just a Game" is also great. I just thought that "Allied Forces" was probably the better seller and is more well known, so it probably would be more likely to sell more copies, since that is an important aspect for a Gold CD release by AF.

I can think of many albums that could use a great mastering, but they are not that well known or that popular and probably wouldn't sell too many.

I voted 'yes' though I wouldn't buy it - my 'yes' vote is truly for AF to release Allied Forces on vinyl....

Yes, this would be an immediate purchase. So would Just a Game.

    Yes for me.

Just A Game is the album I picked up back in the day and turned my friends onto, so perhaps that would be my choice. But hey, any Triumph would be fantastic!

My money is on the table too.

Oh yes! Probably the second album I ever bought, and Triumph's best.

How is the mastering on the original CD?

(I just got it, but haven't had a chance to listen yet.)

not to slag Triumph, but that title would be reaching a little low for AF

It is OK for an 80s CD. :D The best there is, so far.

Why? One of the greatest rock albums ever made.

...not to slag Triumph, of course.

I wouldn't go that far, obviously, but it's a fine rock album...but there's dozens of better choices AF could produce

There is nothing wrong with the original MCA CD's, not a good plan if this does happen.

  16. None of the above. The need to do Triumph's best album: Thunder Seven.

I'm not interested at all, but that certainly doesn't mean that Allied Forces shouldn't be done.
If enough fans want it then hopefully AF can do it.

Rock and Roll Machine, the original Canadian version would be it, if it was up to me.

The original CD is quite decent, but I am certain it could be improved quite a bit in Steve's hands. The album was recorded very well and has a great variety of guitar tones.

Loved Triumph and loved this album. However, my old vinyl still works fine. I'm not really into gold cd's or paying a premium for digital.

I think Allied Forces has held up the best over the years and is probably the most solid all-around album they released.
