The Kaleidoscope was the only venue i know of that had all their posters done in the round. you can read more about the place here.

    http://rockprosopography101.blogspot.com/2010/04/6230-sunset-boulevard-hollywood-ca.html

The Kaleidoscope was a psychedelic rock venue run by the management of the band Canned Heat. It was only open for about 6 months in 1968. It had some memorable posters and some memorable bands, but it was one of many unsuccessful efforts to create a viable Fillmore type venue in Los Angeles.

the only poster i have from the place was the original billing for a 1968 show with the jefferson airplane, canned heat and the buffalo springfield. apparently buffalo springfield cancelled and were replaced by fever tree. here's the two variations. as i'd said, the one i have is with the springfeld.

HEY DAVE - while indecorously salivating over your 4/19/71 showbill, I searched the show date and - voila - found a copy of your poster with attendant historical notes about the cancelled gig ( http://jgmf.blogspot.com/2011/03/gd-april-19-1971-gymnasium-hofstra.html )! P.S....as a reward for my sparkling initiative, how 'bout you release a few pieces on loan to my study walls for the next couple years? :agree:/katie

Hand screened for Adrian Hopkins, Lizzy's promoter and posted up around London. One copy didn't hit the street ;)

First Jazz & Heritage Fess I went to. Saw this poster on Friday, thought I would wait till Sunday to pick it up, so I wouldn't have to carry around or leave at the Hostel I was staying in. Sold out by Sunday, and became an instant collectors item. Last time I waited to buy a Jazz & Heritage poster

I love that the Grateful Dead/New Riders show at Hofstra was going to be in the "Multipurpose Room." Multi-Purpose indeed!!

That is an awesome poster. That silver frame is perfect.

Lizzy posters are hard to find. I've got one that I found on eBay a while back of Phil and Scott. It's an ok poster, but man I wish something was available in a large format that had a cool pic of the band with the classic logo (Fighting era, for instance).

This is the poster I have (not my pic). It's vintage but kinda bootleg lookin'.

I saw these guys on this tour except they were opening for BOC. Thin Lizzy was great but AC/DC was awesome.
