I just saw this on eBay. I'm not certain, but this might be the V15-V P-mount cartridge that used to be available. The model number is V15-HR-P, and the owner says it does not fit the turntable he bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64620&item=3093693384&rd=1 Only $1.75 as I write this. It's NOS (new old stock), so at the worst, the stylus assembly could be dried out. But with the service replacement deal, it could still be a bargain.
Nope, not me. I don't have a p-mount turntable. And I still have two V15 stylus assemblies I can send back if I need replacements. I just remembered a couple of our fellow forum members may have been looking for a good P-mount cartridge.
Unfortunately, I don't think Shure has any V15V-P or HR-P styli left. http://www.shure.com/xrefphono.html
Oh shoot. I was thinking the VN5MR may have fit it. At face value, I would not trust buying an older cartridge like this one. Only because one of the old V15V styii I found in the basement still had the cantilever intact, but it would not move. The suspension had dried up. (It may have even been the old "HE" hyper-elliptical stylus, before the Micro Ridge became available.) Thanks for the info!
(Almost thought you were the seller for a second. ) Let's hope the bids stay low: it could be a steal if it's in good condition!
