Ever geta feeling of deja vu when you see an album or cd cover that you know you've shouldn't have seen before?

Here's one I found, and I know there are at least 2 others, so lets see what we can come up with ;)

(For those who just don't know, you can easily find album images out there on any online cd retailer....)

Hey great, I didn't know about the Rollins/Jackson one.

    Here's another.
Not so much a homage, but a blatant rip off by the Jovies on the box set...

Of course, what I was really looking for was "Never Mind The Sex Pistols, Here's the Heebee Jeebees". Better luck next time.

These two came out about a month apart and share the same imaginative title. The Spock's Beard (on the left) is one of my top 10 favorite albums.

It seems to me that the covers for the first Fountains of Wayne album and for the Flamingoes' Plastic Jewels album are somewhat similar :)

Not exactly on topic, but the front and back pictures of Van Morrison's Back On Top album from 1999 appeared on two different books first published in 1998 - "My Year in the No-Man's-Bay" by Peter Handke and "The Prodigal Spy" by Joseph Kanon. I actually saw the Handke book in a bookstore after Back On Top came out and that was kind of weird realizing the album shots were not of Van.....

Of course, we could go on and on with Weird Al Yankovic covers.

Lots of knock-offs of Meet the Beatles out there from 60's bands to The Residents, and there must be a bunch from TJB "Whipped Cream and Other Delights," too...

    1. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
2/ Japanese artist Jun Fukamachi released a now very rare electronic version of Sgt. Pepper's in 1977 on Japan's EMI Toshiba label. The cover is a reproduction of the original Sgt. Pepper's photo, except everyone is facing backwards.
    3. Mothers Of Invention - the inside jacket to We're Only In It For The Money w/ Jimi Hendrix in the photo wearing a dress.
    4. The Rutles - Sgt. Rutter's Only Darts Club Band or is that "Major Happy's Up and Coming Once Upon a Good Time Band

About the Jun Fukamachi album. The copy I have has the word BEATLES and the Sgt Pepper logo reading backwards as well (it's facing the same way, just th type is revesred out). Does anyone know the story behind that?

Kinda similar to this one, one of my all-time favorite album covers.
