David Crosby's voice is as good as ever. Pretty miraculous, given what he's been through.

Because the guys in YES are jerks. Also Jon has said he can tour but not at pace the current lineup is touring at.

I haven't looked through the whole thread but I caught a bit of a PBS special recently and there was a performance from Ed Ames and I thought he sounded about as good as when he was young. I think he was about 82(?) in this clip...

I saw Al Stewart live a couple of nights ago. He's 69. Really, his voice has hardly aged at all. What a great night out it was.

Here's a sign of hope for every aging singer. Dutch artist Johannes Heesters, singing live on his 106 th birthday in 2009.

A good example of a singer (who wasn't a 'natural' singer to begin with) who has improved with age and experience. RT's voice may be an acquired taste but there's no denying he knows how to use it/write for it. That said, I rather like his 'naive' vocals on Henry The Human Fly and the early FC stuff - they had the artlessness of raw youth.

Jay is vastly underrated. IMO, he's up there with Roy Orbison. Amazing that he could still sing this powerfully in his 70s and even hit the falsetto notes. Most men lose their falsetto long before this age.

Agreed! I've seen him in concert 6 times in fairly recent years. If anything, he gets better with age.

I saw Little Richard in concert when he was 65. He could still hit those high notes and could still dance on top of the piano. Other than that, legendary and profoundly influential rock'n'roll pioneer that he was, he had basically become a cartoon of himself.

John Wetton. Haven't heard him lately but 3 or 4 years ago his voice was still great both live and in the studio.

100% agreed. And she wrote those great songs at the age of 68-69 right? Amazing.
