So, how bad is your crack? (DSOTM SACD pic thread)

So you rushed out and bought a copy of DSOTM SACD on the day of release. Like myself, you most likely purchased a defective product. Discs manufactured by Crest have started cracking from the center of the disc.

I thought it would be interesting for each of us to post pictures of our defective discs. Maybe someone at Crest will see this and issue a recall. If not, at least we can laugh about it amongst ourselves.

I held my disc up against my Beatles for sale lithograph. It's much easier to see the cracks against this particular background.

 

Wow, that is amazing. You should have a good copy shortly.

 

It's hard to get an image of all the little guys. I guess there are between 6 to 8 in total though. Some hairline, and some fairly bad.

 

I'm sorry, but I don't feel comfortable discussing my crack in public.

As someone from the rest of the world I decided to scan the couple of my Crest hybrids today. Unpleasant sight.

It's DSOTM on pic. Five more Crest hybrids I have look the same.

 

I don't know where my PF was manufactured... no Japan pressing, but definitely not by Crest. I think DSOTM was pressed in 4 plants worlwide... is that true?

Anyway my copy is in perfect condition
