    I had a friend in the 80s that had this exact setup...the wall was totally bare and he hung two from the ceiling and two on stands. Powered them with two massive Crown amps. Concert level sound for sure. I think that system plus Who’s Next was the start of my tinnitus...

    When I owned them I tried both hanging from the ceiling and on pedestals. I preferred the pedestals by a large margin.
