First off, I have to say that I can't believe how many TV show DVDs some member have, WOW.

    Anyway I have:

    Star Trek TOS (all)
    The Prisoner (all)
Danger Man (aka Secret Agent) (about half)
    Honeymooners (classic 39 set)
    Fatty Owls (all)
    Rocky + Bullwinkle (first set)
    Walking with Dinosaurs/Prehistoric Beasts/Cavemen

  2. The M*A*S*H boxes trickle out slowly over here, but I do have boxes 1 and 2 - I'll get three once I've paid off my soundcard/hard drive/microphone upgrades

I knew you goofed when I read your earlier post. :)
I have those as well, but I don't own the SpongeBob first season box.

Other than those, I only own The Critic. I plan on buying The Kids in the Hall first season soon.

Unfortunately I just don't have the disposable income to buy everything I want, there's SO much out there!
Soap:First Season, The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, Family Guy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Barny Miller, SNL comps, ER, The Young Ones, Law and Order, etc.
I could spend a whole paycheck just catching up!

I will be checking my local Barnes and Noble and Borders as soon as June rolls around. I liked the Charles character. M*A*S*H is my favorite TV show of all time so my opinion may be a little biased.

BTW,although they were later assembled into television shows, the Looney Tunes set is really a collection of theatrical shorts, even if they include the TV show intro as an extra. Of course, this makes my own listing of "The Best of Dr. Seuss" a grey area as it contains two TV productions and a theatrical short. :)

So far in the U.S. there are two seasons of Married With Children available on dvd, as well as a couple of compilation dvd's that came out before the first season was issued in its entirety.

Two other TV-dvd's that I have that I forgot to mention earlier:

    Malcolm In The Middle

Where did you get Season 2? Last I heard, Artisan had no plans to release it. Was it finally released in R2?

    I own:
Twin Peaks - pilot and Season 1
    Fawlty Towers
    Looney Tunes Golden Collection

I love The Simpsons but I don't have any of the seasons on DVD. I would rather watch them on TV. I like being surprised every night with which two episodes my local Fox station shows. That way, if it's a S1 or S2 episode, I can just change the channel. :)

Two shows I'd buy in a heartbeat:
    Star Wars: Clone Wars
    Arrested Development
Beavis & Butthead (if released with music videos - yeah right)

I believe that season two is only available as part of the season 1 & 2 VHS box set in region 1. I have this, but desperatly want season 2 on DVD to add to my season 1 DVD set.

    I have:
    The Beatles Anthology
    Monkees - Seasons 1 & 2
Twin Peaks - Pilot & Season One (Where the ^%& is Season Two?)
Rutles - All You Need Is Cash

    Edit: Forgot to add:
    Monty Python
    Beatles on Ed Sullivan

Rudy: "Unless WKRP, Max Headroom or Crime Story came out on DVD, there aren't many other series I'd want to own."

CRIME STORY Season One has been out for almost a year now. It's a very nice, reasonably priced set from A&E, and as far as I can tell, all of the original music was used. (Deep Discount DVD has the best price on A&E sets.)

I'm not crazy enough to list the sets I have (and the sets I want), but two recent faves, which I've been alternating watching are the "Jonny Quest" first season (with very nice colors - probably manipulated more than the original, but they look good to me) and the "Have Gun Will Travel" set. I like the old half hour adventure series conept; it has a short story feel. I'm still working my way through the extras on the "Freaks and Geeks" set - which is probably the most impressive television release on DVD yet!

I'd also highly recommend the Danger Man / Secret Agent sets. I originally sampled these in the individual two DVD sets, then broke down and got the big old box of the hour shows and the smaller box of the half hour shows and then I watched them in order. Excellent series which I vaguely remembered as a kid. Patrick McGoohan is a fascinating actor, and it's very interesting to see how his character progressed over the years.

I also like the "Naked City" compilations that have been coming out, as it seemed to be the golden era for writing and acting (mix of older actors and up&comers like Robert Duvall, Tuesday Weld, etc.). I'm really looking forward to the "Combat!" sets, and I wish "The Fugitive" and "Route 66" were forthcoming also.

No one has mentioned the various Gerry & Sylvia Anderson Supermarionation sets out. SUPERCAR, FIREBALL XL5, STINGRAY, THUNDERBIRDS, CAPTAIN SCARLET AND THE MYSTERONS, etc. I prefer the older, goofier series. I achieve a state of nirvana after popping any THUNDERBIRDS disc in my DVD player: "ANYTHING can happen in the next thirty minutes!"

Another pleasant surprise has been the "Wiseguy" sets. The first season was the best (and it's been released on two different sets - "The Sonny Steelgrave Arc" and "The Mel Profitt Arc"), but I like the actors and characters so much I plan on getting all of the subsequent sets, despite the fluctuations in quality.

I have a DirecTV w/ TiVo and I qualify for FOX feeds out of NY & LA and I have a Season Pass set up for "The Simpsons" on both so I can understand where your coming from. However, I also own the first three seasons on DVD and will pick up the fourth when it comes out, not just for the episodes, but for the commentary that's provided for each one. Normally, I'm not keen on that kind of thing, but I SO enjoy it on these sets.
