Saw your message, and decided to check cdconnection myself. I can believe Elton John shows in stock, as its available other places as well. Never would have thought Band On The Run would be in stock, and they even say they have Tull Aqualung in stock!!!!

I had to order an Aqualung... we'll see if it shows...

thank you so much, oatsdad. thursday night i ordered jethro tull,steve miller,andjohnny winter and today,less than 1 week later they all arrived.they all appear new and factory sealed.i am so happy! p.s.cduniverse and cdconnection both seem to have dcc's in stock

 

It's amazing they're claiming so many DCC gold items in stock. if true, i should have Jethro Tull's Aqualung and Original Masters, Elton John's Greatest Hits, and the Doors 1st LP all heading my way!

 

Just put a 'DCC' order into cduniverse.com, and BOTR and Red Rose Speedway are both supposedly ex stock. My credit card is gently weeping...

 

CDUniverse just cancelled my JT Aqualung order (whihc I placed this AM) as being out of stock. Bummer.

Be careful! Even though the photo of the DCC version is shown, it's price ($23.99 versus the normal BN price for DCC's of $27.58) and label - EMI INT'L - would lead me to believe that it is actually the commonly available UK McCartney Collection silver disc edition.

 

O.K., I just ordered the DCC Elton John Greatest Hits CD from cdconnection.com for $31.82 with standard shipping. Do you think I will get it. My fingers are crossed.

 

Well, cdconnection only updates its listings once a day, so it'll show as "in stock" for the whole day even if someone has already ordered it.

Assuming they probably only had one in stock, the earlier in the day you order it, the better your chances are.

Well, in case cdconnection.com does not come through with the Elton John DCC CD, I ordered one from cduniverse.com. Cduniverse.com claimed to have one copy left when I placed my order. They also claimed to have one left after I placed my order. So, I can pretty well bet I'm not getting the CD from cduniverse.com.

Chris, I'm expecting the same to happen with the Elton John DCC disc I ordered from cdconnection.com. It will probably happen with cduniverse.com too.

 

OK this is scary, except for Red Rose Speedway, which I already own, this is my exact order from www.cdconnection.com . Hopefully we both get them.
BTW Monday I checked Amazon/CDNow and found a DCC Van Halen in stock. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that one too.

 

All my 'DCC' orders at cduniverse have status 'on hold/rejected', asking me to telephone them... doesn't look too good!

 

I found a copy of the DCC cd with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. at Circuit City for $27, this weekend.

 

They came today! Sealed!!!! Great price!!!

Well, I got a confirmation of the billing on my credit card, and the Sam Goody website says they were shipped . . .

Three DCCs should be in my mailbox soon. Then again, didn't a wise man once say, "I'll believe it when it's in my hands"?

Keep the faith: I remember scoring a DCC of RINGO on eBay for $20, and just knowing it wouldn't be the right disc, or that the seller would "lose it in the mail" once she realized she listed it incorrectly. But it did show up.

 

Got Linda's Greatest Hits 1 & 2 and Guaraldi Black Orpheus today. Plus I got a shipping notice for the Cars - Cars from CD Universe.
